Remaining Country Coach Items Auctioned Off

By Stacia Kalinoski

JUNCTION CITY, Ore. -- Portland-based CIA Auctions reports 75 percent of the items were sold Thursday, and the remaining 25 percent went Friday.

The manager says they're happy with the turnout and the bids. Nearly everything went for half the retail price, including one top-of-the line motorcoach. Originally $850,000, it drove off the log for about $400,000.

"Obviously people came for the coaches, to see what that was all about, but people came for everything. We have people running all types of businesses that are interested in the inventory and stock that they had," said CIA Auctions Manager Tyler Beal.

The auction ended Thursday, but Beal's crew will be around until February 19th to help people load their purchases.
