Eugene Police are looking for answers after a man was shot to death near a downtown railroad crossing.

EPD Pubic Information Officer Melinda Kletzok said a 44-year-old white man was working a shift for Portland and Western Railroad when his co-worker found him dead.

The body was found near 2nd and Cleveland.

The name of the victim has yet to be released as authorities work to notify his family about the death.
